Weekly harvest report

Join me for the weekly harvest report. A weekly look at what has been harvested and how much that would have cost from a shop.

Weekly harvest report

  • 14 quail eggs which would have cost us £2.94 from a shop.
  • 100g tomatoes which would have cost us 28p from a shop.
  • 2 courgettes which would have cost us 80p from a shop.
  • 200g onions which would have cost us 10p from a shop.
  • 250g French beans which would have cost us 70p from a shop.
  • 200g broad beans which would have cost us 40p from a shop.
  • 100g peas which would have cost us 67p from a shop.
  • 100g blackberries which would have cost us £1 from a shop.
  • 300g raspberries which would have cost us £3 from a shop.
  • A selection of herbs and salad leaves as required. We allow £1 for these

The next items I forgot to add to last weeks weekly harvest report

  • 2.7kg shallots which would have cost us £10.12 from a shop.

This week's total.

This weeks total comes to £21.01. Not too bad to be honest. A lot of fresh soft fruit is becoming available and tomatoes and courgettes are now available.

Still no chicken eggs due to nature. A bit annoying but that is life and it makes me recognise that we may need new chickens here next year.

What have you harvested this week? Let me know in the comments or Email me here.
