Weekly harevest report
Each week I like to share my weekly harvest report. Let's take a look at what I have harvested this week and how much it would have cost us from a shop.
Weekly harvest report
This week we have harvested the following
- 14 chicken eggs which would have cost us £3.50 from a shop.
- 300g chard which would have cost us £2.00 from a shop.
- 250g kale which would have cost us £1.75 from a shop.
- A selection of salad leaves and herbs as and when required. we allow £1 for these.
This weeks total
That brings this week's total to £8.25. Another drop in value this week but it is still food that is being harvested. I also still have quiet a few things that are waiting to be harvested. Potatoes galore, cauliflower, cabbage and leeks to name a few. Some of this is of course being saved for Christmas dinner.

The weather stopped play on the allotment this week, but when we did get out we harvested £37 worth of veg, very low due to rain. We picked: carrots, chard, true spinach, leeks, chicory, broccoli, sprout leaves, brocollini, lots of types of kale, kalettes, potatoes, red beets, golden beets, spring onions, celery, tomatoes and lettuce. #Allotmentlife #allotment #autumnallotment #autumngarden #eatyourgreens #gooutside #thegoodlife #stevesallotmentharvest #stevesweeklyharvestsummary @growyourownmag
Still a pretty good harvest Steve. This weather is awful though. Cant wait for some dry weather. All the best.
