Weekly harvest report.

Each week I like to share my weekly harvest report. This week however is for the last two weeks.

Weekly harvest report.

This week we have harvested the following.

  • 20 chicken eggs which would have cost us £5.00 from a shop.
  • 3kg tomatoes which would have cost us £6.00 from a shop.
  • 500g potatoes which would have cost us 50p from a shop.
  • 1 cabbage which would have cost us 79p from a shop.
  • 4 courgettes which would have cost us £1.60 from a shop.
  • A selection of herbs and salad leaves harvested as required. We allow £1 each week for these so for this report that would be £2.

This week's total.

That brings this fortnights total to £15.89. A little low but as we have lots of food in the freezer, it's not a problem.

What have you harvested over the last couple of weeks? Let me know in the comments or Email me here.

  • Hi Richard, here’s our weekly harvest report: we harvested £250 worth of veg. Thanks to bulk harvests of apples we kept up a pretty good rate. We also picked: calabrese, broccoli, brocollini, kale, kalettes, runner beans, potatoes, red beets, golden beets, spring onions, celery, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, NZ spinach, peppers, mixed herbs, strawberries and raspberries
