Recipe of the week

This week's recipe comes from listener Jonathon and it's a delicious and easy-to-follow recipe for pickled eggs. Perfect for an on-the-go snack or a tasty addition to any meal, these pickled eggs are sure to please. Here's what you'll need:

  • 6 eggs
  • 500ml malt vinegar
  • 500ml cider vinegar
  • sliced garlic
  • coriander seeds
  • peppercorns
  • dried chillies


  1. Hard boil the eggs and peel.
  2. In a large jar, combine the vinegar, garlic, coriander seeds, peppercorns and dried chillies
  3. Add the eggs to the jar, making sure they are completely submerged in the brine.
  4. Allow the eggs to pickle for at least 2 days in the refrigerator before serving.
