Seeds to sow in September
September is a pretty busy month in the Veg garden and I often see it as the beginning of the veg gardening year. There's plenty of seeds that we can sow now to provide us with plenty food throughout winter and into spring. They include
- Cabbage
- Onion both seed and sets
- Garlic
- Pak choi
- Peas
- Broad beans
- Radish
- Green manures
- Lettuce and salad leaves
- Spring onions
- Shallots
