This gooseberry bush has to go!

I gave it a lot of thought and the gooseberry bush has to go!! IT was planted to close to a thornless blackberry bush that I really like and I have lots of other gooseberry bushes on the allotment. With a strong pair of gloves and a decent set of loppers, I removed the brunches, then I dug out the roots and it was gone. After that I strimmed the grass and laid sown a wood chip mulch.
