Tool maintenance time
This week As its still cold Richard thought it would be a good time to spend a little time maintaining his garden tools. This is at least a once yearly task that needs to be tackled in order to get the best from our tools.
This includes
- Cleaning away dirt and rust
- Sharpening any blades
- Painting or oiling any metal parts to prevent rust
- Oiling wooden handles so they don't go brittle
