Choosing the right apple tree.

Recently I received a question from a listener. The listener asked me what apple tree would I recommend for an exposed site in North Yorkshire. As I live in the south UK I could pretty much grow any type of apple tree that was available. However in North Yorkshire there turned out to be a little less choice. With all this in mind, I researched and share my research with you and listener to help her choose.

I mention that should anyone else listening have any suggestions then please leave a comment below or Email me.

Resources for this show are as follows

3varietiess that I found to be recommended on online forums where sunset, falstaff and egremont russet. What do you think are they good choices.
