Weekly harvest report

Each week I like to share my weekly harvest report. Sharing what I've harvested over the last week and seeing how much that would have costly from a shop.

Weekly harvest report

This week we have harvested the following

  • 14 chicken eggs which would have cost us £3.50 from a shop
  • A selection of herbs and salad leaves as required. We allow £1 for these.

This week's total

  • That brings this week's total to £4.50. Yes a very low week. Unfortunately I've been in bed a lot this week with an awful cold. Thankfully I seem to be over it now and plan to get beck to normal service.

    • Sounds like the flu Richard if it confined you to bed. Hope all the fresh veg picks you up soon! Here’s my weekly harvest report: we harvested £54 worth of veg, very low because we decided to rest most of the salad beds for a week given the gloomy weather. We picked: carrots, chard, true spinach, leeks, chicory, broccoli, sprout leaves, brocollini, lots of types of kale, kalettes, main crop and new potatoes, red beets, golden beets, spring onions, celery, tomatoes, sorrel, rocket, lots of bean tops and a little lettuce
