Why do we earth up potatoes?
This is the question I am asking today. It seems a strange thing to do doesn't it I mean we have a plant that has been growing out the ground and then we cover it back over with some material.
Why do we do this?
Well this is some debate over whether this makes any difference but I think the main reason we do this is to improve yield. It also has many more advantages all of which get discussed in today's podcast.
