Today on the plot
Today I have mainly been weeding on the allotment. Weeding is one of those tasks that is incredibly boring and time consuming.
To make my life easier with weeding my plan is that Ill always start weeding on one end and make my way to the other. hopefully as we go on ill be spending less time at one end of the plot and more on the other end.
All my weeds then got passed through the lawnmower and thrown onto the compost heap.
I then levelled the ground where my new compost bin is to sit.

Seeds I'll be sowing in April
April is a busy seed sowing month especially for vegetable seeds. I looked through my seed tins to see what seeds I plan to sow in April.
They are
- Salad leaf
- Microgreens
- Purple sprouting broccoli
- Sweetcorn
- Squash (courgettes, marrows, pumpkins, butternut squash, mash potato, boiled potato, crown prince and yellow scollop)
- Calabrese
- Chinese kale
- wok broc
- Chinese cabbage
- radicchio
- melon
- dill
- basil
- parsley
- corrriander
- leeks
- peas.
