Join me in this week's podcast where I am joined with fellow podcaster Lee Connelly aka skinny jean gardener. In this podcast, Lee has taken me to explore Beth Chatto's gardens.

The diary

In this weeks diary, we have tackled the following tasks

  • Tidying my greenhouse and levelling the water butt
  • Weeding the allotment while having some very changeable weather
  • Deciding if I've grown too many tomatoes

Beth Chatto's Gardens.

Lee invited me up to have a look around Beth Chatto's garden. Which is a garden open to the public near Colchester, Essex.

I love visiting gardens in my spare time. I find having a good look around some gardens inspirational and gets the creative juices flowing. Beth Chatto's garden certainly gave us lots to think about and we discuss our thoughts in this episode.

During this episode, you will hear us mention about creeping herbs as ground cover. The herb used in this garden is creeping thyme but other herbs that could be used are creeping rosemary and oregano.

At the very bottom of this blog post I have added a few photos taken on my visit.
