Episode 240. Plans for my beds over winter.

Join me in this week's podcast where I share my plans for my beds over winter. I also share the latest from the plots.

The diary

Over the last week, I have tackled the following tasks

  • Tidying the potting shed
  • Moving my tender plants into the greenhouse
  • Dodging the rain

and much more please check out the podcast to find out more.

Plans for my beds over winter.

I always feel its a shame to waste any space of land that could be growing food over the winter. There is a lot of food that can still be grown over winter providing us with food all year round or getting us off to an early start.

The colder wetter weather that we can expect over the next few months can make us head inside instead of being outside. Which is a shame as I feel there is so much more we could be doing during this time of year.

I will admit I don't like getting wet in the rain but my time on the plots is precious. Last year I created this podcast about a few ideas we can be doing on the plots when it's raining.

In this episode, I explore my plans to use most of my beds overwinter in order to grow food and be more productive but to also make my life easier for next year. What beds will be growing food? What beds will be put to bed and how? find out in this episode.
