Join me in this week’s podcast where I share how I store my homegrown produce for the winter months. I also have the latest from the allotment and vegetable patch.

In this weeks diary section, I have tackled the following tasks

  • Harvesting all my potatoes

  • Mulching the beds

And much more in the podcast.

How I store my homegrown produce.

Growing our own food is a way of life but what’s the point of growing all this food if it doesn’t get eaten? That’s why the correct storing of food is so important.

Stored correctly our homegrown food can keep us supplied all year round and certainly well into the depths of winter when fresh pickings are perhaps a little scarce.

In this podcast, I share how I tend to go about storing my produce simply but effectively. I share where I store my food and how I prepare to put our food into storage.
