6.8.2018 harvests and layering gooseberries

In this week's video from the ve grower podcast I have harvested lots of food as well attempting to layer gooseberries.

Harvests are coming in thick and fast now with plenty of food available to keep us fed. This week is the first time I have harvested a marrow as well as many other crops.

I have had a few friends after gooseberry plants. I thought I would try to grow them some gooseberry plants through layering. This is a natural form of propagation but the first time I have tried it. We shall see how it works in the future but in this video I demonstrate how I have started 2 methods of layering.
