3.9.2018 Harvesting pears and chick update

In this weeks video I harvest a few pears and put the new chickens in the same cage.

Its the time of year where pears are coming into season. I discovered a few windfalls below my pear tree and so decided it was time to check the rest.

Pears are best harvested before they are ripe due to the nature. A gentle pull on a pear will tell if its ready. If the pear comes away from the tree easily, it's ready.

I have also put the two new chickens into the same run as bear my original chicken. I expected a few disagreements and arguments. Thankfully it hasn't been to difficult after acclimatising the chicks to each other in separate cages.
